Frequently Asked Questions

Is this financial or legal advice?

No. Every grant match is informational — it tells you what you may be eligible for and why, based on the answers you've given and the current published scheme rules, but it isn't a guarantee of funding and isn't financial or legal advice. Always confirm with the scheme administrator or your local authority before applying, particularly close to a deadline.

Which parts of the UK are covered?

England and Wales. Scotland and Northern Ireland run separate EPC registers and separate scheme timelines, so they're out of scope for now.

Where does the EPC data come from?

The gov.uk EPC Register — the same official register that produces the certificate itself. If a property genuinely has no certificate on file, we say so rather than guessing.

What if my council isn't listed as a confirmed LA Flex or WHLG participant?

Some schemes, particularly LA Flex and WHLG, are delivered per local authority, and there's no single national list that's always current — councils publish, update, and occasionally pause their participation. Where we haven't independently confirmed a council's current status, we say so explicitly rather than guessing — check directly with the council if you're not sure.

How many properties can I track?

Up to 20 on the Professional plan. If you manage more than that, get in touch.

Do you store my card details?

No. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe Checkout and the Stripe Customer Portal — no card data ever reaches our servers.

How do I cancel?

Stripe Customer Portal, via the Manage billing button on the billing page — no need to contact anyone.

How do you decide which grant is worth more?

Estimated value is recalculated from the underlying grant terms every time, not compared as displayed text — a "fully funded" match always ranks above a fixed £ amount, since 100% coverage is worth more than any partial grant.
